Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Ethics (PGDCE)

Clinical Ethics is a specialized application branch of bio- ethics that enhances the quality of healthcare by resolving dilemmas and conflicts between the various stakeholders and thereby restoring the trust of society in the healthcare system. A clinical ethicist is trained in clinical ethics and can provide unbiased solutions to ethical dilemmas in healthcare settings.

Dr. Ravi Vaswani is the Professor, Department of Internal Medicine at Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore and part time faculty at the Centre. He is trained in bioethics and health professions education. His areas of interest include HIV medicine, clinical ethics and medical education. Besides teaching at the Centre he is Course Coordinator for the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Ethics
